GETTING STARTED

Mobility by Volvo is a straightforward process for selecting and adding adaptive equipment to a new Volvo.

First, visit your Volvo retailer and decide which new Volvo suits the way you live and drive. Then a Driver Assessment Center can help you select the adaptive equipment required to meet your needs. Installers can also supply information about personal mobility devices, without the need to visit an assessment center.

For further information:

Call the Mobility by Volvo Center at 1-800-803-5222
Persons with hearing impairment may call 1-800-833-0312

Other Considerations:
Our goal is to help make vehicle financing as convenient and flexible as possible for persons with disabilities and their families. Your Volvo retailer can provide you with information about flexible finance terms available through Volvo Finance, to help control your monthly payment obligation.

This program offers Care by VolvoŽ On Call Roadside Assistance - maps, routing information, and other assistance. Every driver needs a little help now and then. New Volvo owners qualify for a complimentary four-year membership to Volvo On CallŽ, so help is only a phone call away.

Some states require special training for drivers of vehicles with adaptive equipment and require reporting of physical conditions that could impair driving. Most departments of motor vehicles or Secretary of State offices provide booklets or other information for drivers with physical disabilities.

Training in the use of the new adaptive equipment is essential to the full enjoyment of your new vehicle. Training possibilities include equipment installers, an assessment center's driver evaluator and a qualified driving instructor.
