Today the Volvo philosophy is still about well-being. That's why safety still comes first.

But we realize the environment affects health too, both inside and outside your car - things like the quality of the air, for example, or whether the seat is good for your back.

At the Volvo Car Safety Center we simulate real life situations to make sure our ideas work.

We started a recycling program, which is still in operation today. Today Volvo sets the world standards.
